Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have enlarged heterogenous prostrate but my psa is normal. Have been in finesterid and rappaflo for 9 months and was doing well. Recent MRI for hip pain showed these results. Hip bone is fine. May have small ligament tear starting. Going to urologist in morning to discuss results. Any opinion as to options is appreciated . Thanks, John
Your symptoms seem to be related to prostateadenoma. As long as PSA in normal there is no need for surgery. I recommend regular prostate ultrasound, urine test and regular check of prostate level. Meanwhile, I suggest to continue the medications.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi General & Family Physician
